Maple Almond Kelp Frond Cookies

Sweet and tasty cookies for the holidays or any time you want a treat.

Makes about 20 cookies.

 Ingredients:

  • 1/2 oz Kelp Fronds (or 1/2 oz Kelp Fronds Flakes)
  • 2 cups almonds (about 0.7lbs) – or use store-bought finely ground almond flour
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grind the Kelp Fronds to a coarse powder in a blender or food processor, then grind the almonds. Mix the ground Kelp and almonds with a fork, adding the maple syrup. Roll this mix into balls, flatten them a bit, and place them on an oiled cookie sheet.

Bake for 20 minutes.
