We have been harvesting medicinal wild plants and fungi for 30+ years. Our harvest area is the Klamath-Siskiyou bioregion of southwestern Oregon and northwestern California. We understand the plants we work with. Each species is harvested at its prime stage of development, in a way that causes minimal impact on future plant populations.

Each herb has a harvest season (see our pricelist below). Please order before the harvest season starts. We will ship your herbs when they are ready. We do not usually keep herbs in stock; we harvest them for people that order them. This way, you always get freshly harvested herbs (commercially available herbs are often several years old).

Dried herbs and fungi currently in stock: Agarikon, Calamus, Chokecherry, Indian Paint Fungus, Japanese Knotweed, Licorice Fern Root, Lomatium, Oregon Grape Root, Tall Dogbane, Turkey Tails, Usnea, Wild Cherry and Willow Conk.

We also sell smaller quantities of dried herbs on Etsy.

“As a master herbalist, I am very particular about where I source my herbs. Through blessing and research, I found Naturespirit Herbs and they have been my go-to company for my herbal needs.

Thank you, James and Kari - you have brought herbs to me that I never otherwise would have had the chance to work with - much less in their fresh state!”

“No matter how concentrated or powerful an extract you make from plants, if the starting materials are not quality, the finished product won’t be either. When we started using fresh herbs from Naturespirit, the potency and overall vitality, flavor profile, and efficacy of our spagyric extracts increased. The Naturopaths using our products noticed the change as well.

Whether wildcrafted or organically cultivated, the fresh plants we get from James and Kari are consistently of the highest quality we can imagine. We rest easy knowing that they care for the herbs and the ecosystems where they are harvested. It’s clear that they also care for the healing that they bring from the Earth into the world.”
