We have been harvesting medicinal wild plants and fungi for 30+ years. Our harvest area is the Klamath-Siskiyou bioregion of southwestern Oregon and northwestern California. We understand the plants we work with. Each species is harvested at its prime stage of development, in a way that causes minimal impact on future plant populations.

Each herb has a harvest season (see our pricelist below). Please order before the harvest season starts. We will harvest and ship your herbs when they are ready.

For herbs harvested to order, customers agree to purchase up to 10% more than the amount ordered.

Fresh herbs, flowers and berries are usually shipped overnight. Fresh roots are shipped 2nd Day Air.

We sometimes have a few dried herbs in stock, here is our current list:

Agarikon, Artist Conk Fungus, Aspen Bark, American Calamus, Catnip, Devil’s Club Root Bark, He Shou Wu, Horse Chestnut, Horsetail,  Indian Paint Fungus,  Madrone Leaf, Marshmallow Root,  Medicinal Mushroom Mix, Nettle Root, Osha Root (Ligusticum porteri), Puncture Vine, Red Belted Conk, Red Root (chipped root), Reishi Fungus, Silk Tassel, Spikenard Root, Tulsi, Turkey Tail, Usnea, Willow Conk, and Yerba Mansa.

We also sell herbs in smaller quantities at our Etsy store.

“As a master herbalist, I am very particular about where I source my herbs. Through blessing and research, I found Naturespirit Herbs and they have been my go-to company for my herbal needs.

Thank you, James and Kari - you have brought herbs to me that I never otherwise would have had the chance to work with - much less in their fresh state!”

“No matter how concentrated or powerful an extract you make from plants, if the starting materials are not quality, the finished product won’t be either. When we started using fresh herbs from Naturespirit, the potency and overall vitality, flavor profile, and efficacy of our spagyric extracts increased. The Naturopaths using our products noticed the change as well.

Whether wildcrafted or organically cultivated, the fresh plants we get from James and Kari are consistently of the highest quality we can imagine. We rest easy knowing that they care for the herbs and the ecosystems where they are harvested. It’s clear that they also care for the healing that they bring from the Earth into the world.”
