Spicy Seaweed Gomasio

Gomasio is a great condiment to sprinkle on cooked rice, vegetables and salads

Makes about 1 cup

 Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sesame seed
  • 1 oz Six Mix Seaweed Powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Pinch of cayenne or curry powder

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350ºF.

Spread the sesame seeds in a large metal tray and bake for 4 to 6 minutes, or until the seeds just begin to darken.

Allow to cool, then pulse in a food processor until it is ground to a coarse meal. Put the ground sesame in a bowl and mix in the Six Mix Seaweed Powder, salt, and either a pinch of Cayenne or a teaspoon of Curry powder.

Keep a jar of this flavorful condiment on your dinner table!

Store in refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
